I was able to get one of Myra's babies - there are still a couple available, hurry to her shop! (all sold now!)

Was there ever something this cute? No way I could ever make such tiny, beautiful toys!
There are days when the mailbox is desperately empty, days when it yields only junk mail, and days when all the good things come together! Today I received 2 Victoria mags from Lynn, and from Sachiko, Cotton Time magazine, a lovely zakka book, and a key case kit. Happy hours in perspective!
I made a macaron from the magazine, I couldn't figure out how to make it like in the photos though, with the folds and wavy middle, so I'm a little disappointed, but I suppose if I make several more they will look cute together. For the letter I chose "L" as in "Ladurée". No E168 embroidery thread here, so I used 5283 which I think is too metallic. I'll have to order some E168 online.
I had been pestering Carol to give up her Susan Fosnot head to me (from the day I had first seen its photo, I had been lusting after it), and she did, I feel guilty, but I promise I'll make her body soon, and I'm glad my own doll will have a sister. In exchange I'm making Carol hats and dresses for her kitten and bunny. Carol send the head lightning fast and in a lovely box - I'm really spoiled!
Last Monday, after work I went to town to buy mags for Puni and me, don't know why I had the urge to buy a cross stitch mag. I very rarely do cross stitch, only a few days per year when I'm on holiday in Brittany, but I like to look at mags sometimes, especially this one, whose style I like much.
Back at home I looked through it, and, zowie! Sweet stuff! I especially love the macarons and cakes in the last photo and will surely make some in the near future.
Not feeling much better today, I think I'm going to stay home tomorrow. Hubby did find a 1.25 mm hook in town yesterday, so I have finished the bunny hat for Carol and will start the kitten hat soon.
A slice of my favorite cake "Fleurs de Provence" (from the local pâtisserie)?
Or a new batch of Moo cards?
Can you tell my favorite colors are blue, pink and white?
Not feeling much up to snuff today, my throat still hurts a lot. I'll probably spend most of the rest of the day reading and will try to crochet a little later on. As luck would have it I lost my 1.25 mm hook which is the one I need right now fo finish a bonnet - I looked everywhere for an hour and coudn't find it. I sent hubby to town and I hope the local yarn seller will have one in this size...
A lot of work these days, and I have strep throat again, I'm feeling quite exhausted. Not quite 7 pm yet but I think I'm going to go to bed and hope I'll be better tomorrow.
Yesterday I was in Paris for work, I went to Ladurée to see if there was anything new, and bingo, they had 2 lovely new Designers Guild boxes, one pink, one lilac.
